Frequently Asked Questions About Collecting

Why Collect?

You should buy art that you LOVE, art that will give you joy every time you see it. Art should make your experience of your life and your home more profound. No two works of art are alike, just as no two snowflakes, and no two people are alike. And the way you experience a piece might be very different from how others experience it.

If it makes you ask questions, provides you with new insights, and makes you feel joy, then it is worth investing in. The artist who made it has accomplished no small thing — something that took years of training and professional experience to achieve. For you to take that into your home requires a financial investment – just as the artist made a financial investment of time, materials, and education to create that work.

Caring for Art: Shipping

Artwork is fragile and I take great care in packing the artworks so that it arrives safely at its destination. In the event a work is damaged in transit to you, please contact me! Send a quick photo of the damage and we can work together for repair, return or carrier insurance claim.

I ship USPS within the US and I offer free shipping on items over $100. For international collectors, buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I’m not responsible for delays due to customs.

Caring for Art: Framing

I have six years experience as a professional picture framer. Original art is an investment and how you frame it can make or break the way it looks in your space. How you frame the work can also affect the way your work ages. Making good choices in choosing framing materials can make your art last for generations. Whenever you purchase a work on paper I include a free “Framing Recommendations” sheet so you can be sure to give your piece the best possible care.

My Guarantee (Returns and Refunds)
Original art is a huge investment. I want you to love your art piece so that it can speak to you for years to come. If it turns out to be not exactly what you expected, I gladly accept returns and exchanges. Just contact me within 14 days of delivery and ship items back to me within 30 days of delivery. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
